Telecom Facilities

MK Roark has completed hundreds of telecomunications-related projects, all successfully. Having seen the myriad approaches to maintaining uptime and handling increasing power densities, we have adopted a flexible approach that is responsive to the unique infrastructure and IT needs of our customers.

Telecom switch facilities tend to be very similar, but there is no one particular engineering solution that will meet every functional need and respond to each unique site location. We take a fresh look at every turn to make sure we are responsive to the details.

Retrofits and Expansions

We are veterans of numerous switch expansion projects, such as adding generators and fuel set-ups, electrical and cooling plant upgrades and replacements and the like. For one Client, we performed extensive renovations and equipment replacements at twenty-nine re-gen switch sites within a two-month period.

Outside Plant Work

For our own development projects, we have built metro-area fiber optic conduits systems with the requisite laterals into the key telecom buildings. Connectivity is the life-blood of business, and we understand all of the issues related to building underground pathways in urban areas and have repeatedly solved them.
